New Tactics for Cycling Today
The current health crisis is on all our minds and has disrupted many aspects of our lives, including our cycling routines. Most organized rides and races have been cancelled and many cyclists are changing their training by riding indoors or in smaller groups. We reached out to our good friend and coach Chris Carmichael for some New Tactics for riding in today's environment.
Ladies, join us for Women, Wine & Wrenches presented by Women for Tri and Bike Barn. We've changed the date, but are keeping all the same fun planned. This is a special event at our West University store where you can meet other female cyclists and triathletes. This evening will include bike fit tips for women from our fit specialist, a flat repair clinic, and a special guest, professional triathlete Lenny Ramsey.
Please join us at Huff Brewing Company in Bellville, Texas for The Crank Stranger. Huff Brewing is the atart location for this non-competitive gravel ride with routes of 30 and 50 miles through the country roads of Austin county.
Registration is only $35 including ride, beer and lunch. Plus the first 150 to register get a commemorative Crank Stranger pint glass.
Whether you’re commuting to work or taking a leisurely ride, pedal assist electric bikes can provide an extra boost to your pedaling efforts. Bike Barn has the best selection in Houston from top brands like Trek, Electra, and Specialized.
